Winifred L. Kelly
1919 to 2026

Winifred Annette (Lundy) Kelly passed away on March 13, 2026, at age106 at her home in San Juan Capistrano, California. She was born on October 24, 1919, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and she was the beloved daughter of Daniel and Nettie Lundy.

Winifred had two older brothers, Daniel and Robert Lundy,

She was married to Howard W. Kelly of St. Paul, MN, on September 12, 1942, on the air force base in Lubbock, TX. They moved from base to base until Howard was discharged from the Air Force in December 1945.  Their first child Susan was born in January 1945, followed by Kim in April 1950.  They eventually settled in the San Fernando Valley until a move to San Juan Capistrano in 1975.  During the time in "The Valley," she obtained a teaching credential and taught elementary school for Los Angeles City Schools and eventually retired after 15 years of teaching.

She is survived by daughter Susan Daley (husband Peter);  son Kim Kelly (wife Kathleen);  four grandchildren, Kelly, Sean, Jennifer, and Caitlin; and seven great grandchildren, Lauren, Ryan, Trevor, Audrey, Lucy, Sadie, and Troy.

Services are to be held at St. Timothy Catholic Church and interment will be in the Veterans Cemetery in Riverside.
