William Robert Bluett

August 14, 1939 – December 8, 2023

Bluett, William Robert, son of Ralph and Betty Bluett, was born on August 14, 1939, in Los Angeles, CA.

William graduated in 1957 from Lynwood High School and married Helen Pauline Eimen on September 4, 1965, in a small town in Iowa. William raised two children in Diamond Bar, CA and continued their upbringing in San Clemente, CA where his family moved in 1977. 

Family vacations, genealogy research and sports were some of his favorite activities. He was employed as a mechanical engineer for about 35 years and retired living in San Clemente in 2001.

William passed away on December 8, 2023, at Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, CA. He is survived by his wife Helen of San Juan Capistrano, his two children Heather Johnston of San Juan Capistrano and Matt (Patty) Bluett of Chandler, Arizona, his siblings Joan Robinson of Aliso Viejo and Richard Bluett of Ashland, Oregon and two grandchildren Taylor Johnston of Dana Point and Trevor (Kyla) Johnston of Laguna Niguel. 

The memorial service was held at the San Clemente Presbyterian Church in San Clemente, CA.
