Lauterborn, William Roy 12/29/1940 ~ 8/28/2009

William ‘Bill’ Roy Lauterborn died Aug. 28th after a short battle with leukemia at the age of 68. Bill was born December 28, 1940 in Inglewood, California. He spent his early years in the Navy as a Gunner. In 1961, he married Sharron Ann Powell and moved to Stanton where they raised their family. The couple then moved to Coto de Caza in southern Orange County, where they built their own home. Bill retired from the sheet metal/HVAC trade after more than 40 years. Bill is remembered for his lifelong passion for fishing, playing golf and watching football. He was a loving husband, father, and friend.

He is survived by his wife, Sharron; four children, Julie Lauterborn-Flores, Shelli Alley, Mike Lauterborn, and Stacey Lauterborn; six grandchildren, Don Lauterborn brother and Barbara Baumgarth and Peggy Trueman sisters.
