Obituary

On Tuesday, February 7, 2023, William George Kessler, loving partner and father, passed away at age eighty-four.

Bill was born on July 8, 1938, in Cleveland, Ohio. After attending Heights High School, he joined the United States Navy. He was stationed in Guantanamo Bay during the Vietnam War from 1957-1961.

Bill was best known for his quick-witted humor, warm presence, and genuine spirit. An avid lover of the outdoors, Bill frequently enjoyed camping, horseback riding, the mountains, and the beaches. Most of all, he loved sailing and enjoyed the sport his entire life.

In 1976, Bill married Pamela Lapick, the great love of his life. They celebrated 47 years of marriage in 2022. Together, they traveled the world frequently and never stopped planning adventures to experience with each other. Bill and Pam loved traveling the beaches of Mexico, where they would take their family vacations throughout the years.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Marion and William, and his brother, Robert (Bobby) Kessler.

Bill is survived by his wife, Pamela, his three daughters: Karen, Elizabeth, and Patricia, and his nieces, Holly and Stacy. He had five loving grandchildren: Aoelina, Madyson, Maxwell, Grace, and Lydia. He also had three young grand-nieces: Savannah, Rylin, and Presley.
