William Edsel Ford, born on January 11, 1931 in Etowah County, Alabama, went to be with our Lord on April 11, 2008. A resident of Lake Forest, California since 1973, he was a veteran and served in the US Army for 20 years.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Ann Carrier Ford; son, Perry, his wife Kris and grandchildren Ryan and Megan of Yankton, SD; son, Gary, his wife Cheryl and granddaughters Amber and Rachel of Lake Forest, CA; daughter, Lynn Rutledge, granddaughters Carrie and Mary; great-grandsons, Matthew and Gabriel of Somerville, AL; brother, James Marlon Ford of Gadsden, AL; and sister, Azlee McAlister of Horton, AL along with many nieces and nephews also in Alabama.

Visitation is Wednesday, April 16 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Followed by the funeral service on Thursday, April 17 at 10:00 a.m. Both services will be held at O'Connor Mortuary.
