Obituary

~ billyonthebass ~

A fine musician, talented artist, wonderful son, brother, cousin, nephew, uncle, friend, cat-dad, Best Husband.  Billy poured his entire heart & soul into every relationship, every gig, every chore.

He was an extraordinarily talented, gracious, kind and generous man.  His humor wicked, very silly, crude and came off sweet doin’ it.  Just hilarious.  Beautiful laugh, and a very handsome dude.

He was a God-Loving man…unpretentious, honest, gentle and strong.

Billy was the groove-master.  He could groove, man, and he never forgot that it was all about ‘one’.

‘Groove in Peace, Billy…ain’t no rest for the Funky’

We hope you can make it to Billy’s memorial service and / or the reception immediately following.

    Dear Gwen,

I am immensely shocked and saddened by the loss of Bill. I can barely imagine how difficult this is for you. Heaven must have really needed him, since you and the world have lost a good man.

  3. My Dearest Gwen,
For some moments in life there are no words. Greg and I wish to convey our deepest sympathy for your loss. We will remember Bill as always smiling, kind and very gracious. He brought music to those around him. What a wonderful gift. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

    Sincerely,
    Greg and Wendy Copeland

  4. Hilary Seleb says:

Bill shared his gift of music with my son Steven at the Saddleback music academy. Just last week he taught him this blues progression that he had been practicing all this week and couldnt wait to show him. The Seleb family will miss him dearly.

  5. JT Park says:

    Gwen,

Not very good with words but I do want to say that you are in my prayers. From the time that I have been at TAMS, you have been such a support as I transitioned to TAMS and if there is any way for me to return that favor during this time, please do not hesitate to ask.

    God Bless You Gwen.
    jt
