Obituary
~ billyonthebass ~
A fine musician, talented artist, wonderful son, brother, cousin, nephew, uncle, friend, cat-dad, Best Husband. Billy poured his entire heart & soul into every relationship, every gig, every chore.
He was an extraordinarily talented, gracious, kind and generous man. His humor wicked, very silly, crude and came off sweet doin’ it. Just hilarious. Beautiful laugh, and a very handsome dude.
He was a God-Loving man…unpretentious, honest, gentle and strong.
Billy was the groove-master. He could groove, man, and he never forgot that it was all about ‘one’.
‘Groove in Peace, Billy…ain’t no rest for the Funky’
We hope you can make it to Billy’s memorial service and / or the reception immediately following.

Dearest Gwen,
We are so shocked… so young, so unexpected. He touched so many lives, that is obvious. He shared his testimony with my daughter and i just a couple of months ago. I was so blessed. He is with his Maker and in bliss now. He is happy, but I know you and all those he left behind are profoundly sad, we will be praying for you.

Bill is an inspiration in many ways. He put his whole self and attitude into worshipping the Lord through his bass playing. This caused me, many times, to follow his lead and give my all to God while worshipping. Also, apart from music, his smile and love were contagious and a true testimony of God’s presence in him.
