REMEMBRANCE William ?Paul? Calaway

William ?Paul? Calaway, age 81 passed away July 21 2004, at Mission Hospital. He was born March 13, 1923 in Gardenville , TX and was a resident of Mission Viejo. Paul was a long time Anaheim resident before retirement to Hot Springs Arkansas in 1983. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, having served during World War II. Paul received a Purple Heart for wounds received at Tarawa and Guadacanal.

Mr. Calaway is survived by his wife of 32 years Emma Calaway, and four step children Linda Robinson, Sue Delaney, Donna Haskill and Larry Tisdale. Paul also had two adopted daughters, Mrs. Angela Wirt, and Kelly Reed. Paul was the oldest of 8 brothers and 2 sisters. Paul is survived by his brothers James Calaway, Edward Calaway, George Roberts, Donald Roberts, Joe Roberts, and sister Mrs. Bonnie Elmore. Preceding him in death was his mother Susan Pearl Hall, father William Dewey Calaway, sister Polly Arnold and brothers Earl Roberts and Ronald Roberts.

Mr. Paul Calaway had a very large extended family which includes 18 grand children and 12 great grand children.

Funeral services will be held at Monday, July 26, 2004 at 11:00 AM at the Riverside National Cemetery, Region 5.
