Obituary
Ford, W.H. ‘Bill’
Born August 5th. 1922 in Dearborn Michigan and recently a 36 year resident of Laguna Niguel passed away in Anaheim February 18th at the age of 85. Bill was an original student of Henry Ford’s Greenfield Village, a veteran of the U.S. Navy during WW II, former employee and retiree of Ford Motor Company, a professional musician, amateur photographer and long-time volunteer of Pacific MMC of Laguna working with Sea Lions. Bill lived, worked and was an intricate part of the 20th. century providing him with an amazing history and many memories to pass on to future generations. He is survived by his four children Lynn, Bill, Mary Kay & Ron Ford of California and Michigan. He also leaves behind a wonderful, caring and supportive family of 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Bill now rejoins, Rita, the love of his life and wife of 45 years who passed away in 1988.
Viewing/visitation will be Saturday 2/23/08 from 10am to 12pm at O’Connor Mortuary of Laguna Hills followed by a graveside service and burial at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in Orange.

I will truly miss Bill. He was my father-in-law and I loved him. I consider myself very lucky to be a member of the Ford family. I’m sure he’s dancing with Rita in Heaven right now and looking down at his wonderful family.

I am so sorry for your loss. I tried really hard to make it out to you so that I can be there for you and support you the way your entire family did for me in my time of need. Due to unfortunate weather circumstances I will be unable to make the service. Seriously, words cannot describe how sorry I am. Please let me know if there is anything I can do for any of you. I love you all and even grandpa helped me to feel like a part of your family and that is something I will always cherish.

I miss Great Grandpa. I will miss laying with him and playing the peg game, stealing his candy bars, the big hugs and hearing him ask me when I am going to cut my hair.
