Obituary

Dear family and friends,
If you have found this page, great. As you know Dad passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2011. We have done our best to notify everyone and have asked those we spoke with to forward accordingly.
Please pass the link to anyone who you may feel would appreciate a moment of remembrances of our father and some of the great times we all enjoyed. The McNally family wish to thank all of you for the love expressed recently and throughout the years.
The holiday season is upon us and it is our intent to schedule a memorial after the first of the year. In all probability we will be getting together in late January or early February to spend a moment together, share a laugh, a story, and maybe a few tears, while we gather and remember all the wonderful times we have had the privilege of sharing with all of you.
We should be contacting you in early January and please check this page for times and locations as well. In the interim please enjoy the pictures that fall way short of truly capturing a life that was so well lived. The last thing we would ask of you is to love each other extra hard this year, you won’t regret it.

    Grandpa-
We all miss you tremendously. Helen, Patrick, Mette, and I are so sorry we couldn’t make it to your service last week. We look forward to sending you out to sea in April though. I hear everyone did an excellent job of hosting and storytelling…..just the way you like it. I understand that Ryan shared some good tales, and Mona had everyone in tears.
I just want you to know how instrumental you have been in my life. You have been an inspiration, and you always taught me to possess that “Quiet Confidence.” Not sure I stayed quiet about it but….I tried. Thank you for being such an amazing grandfather and role model. It has been an honor for us to pass down your name. You will continually be in our thoughts and prayers. Helen and I miss you a ton, and the winkies of course, feel the same way. Give Grandma hugs and love.
