   We are very sorry for your loss. You will be in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

   Walter Rex and I have been friends for 60+ years and grade school classmates. We certainly enjoyed Kathryn and Rex’s visits when they came to Iowa to visit, and hearing about Walter Rex’s family.

   My condolences are with you all as you deal with your loss. Losing a Child is never expected and losing a spouse is never easy.

   Rex was a wonderful person, I always had the utmost respect for him and his parents. I always have and always will remember the wonderful times we had together as young kids in the neighborhood.
