  2. Dear Rosalie and Neil,

Dalia & I want to express our sypathies for the loss of your father.

May you take comfort in the fact that both of you fullfilled the roles of devoted daughter and son-in-law in such a way that made your father feel that he rasied proper children. That is the finest legacy a father can leave behind.

King Solomen in Ecclesiastes writes that “the day of death is better than the day of one’s birth”. Chapt. 7, V 1 The explanation of the passage by the sages is that on the day of birth no one knows what is in store for them. On the day of passing, friends can rejoice that the person reached a place of peace with his good name intact. From the comments of those who knew and loved him, it is apparent that his good name was intact.

  3. I have so many great memories of Wally. The time I asked for his daughter’s hand in Marriage 40 years ago. The times we went fishing and golfing. Watching him with Dawn and Erin on his lap, singing or telling them stories. I just wish his great-grandson Koehl could have known him. If I can remember those stories he’ll know his great-grampa in his heart.
I’m going to miss his gravely voice that I love to imitate—it reminds me of a Damon Runyan character.
You’re a great father-in-law Wally!–Here’s a toast to you and God Bless You.
    Love; Grant
