Vincent Ferdinand Zoratti
April 1, 1940 to August 1, 2014

Vincent Zoratti, age 74 of Laguna Woods, passed away at home on August 1st, 2014. Vince was born in Detroit, Michigan on April 1st, 1940 to Elisabeth and Romano Zoratti.

Vince worked as an engineer and later as an entrepreneur in the field of electronics. Never content to rest, he worked as a real estate agent after he retired from electronics. What he most enjoyed in life was traveling, spending time with his family and friends, telling stories, laughing, and enjoying the outdoors golfing, sailing or skiing. Vince was also a long time member of the Dana Point Yacht Club, served on numerous boards, and was a volunteer for the Ocean Institute in Dana Point. He loved working on the tall ships, especially high up in the crow’s nest–it was his labor of love up until his illness struck. Vince will be sorely missed by so many people whose lives he touched. He is survived by his son David, his daughter Sheri, his son-in-law Tim, his girlfriend Nancy, his brother Edward, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends. He was predeceased by his loving wife of forty years, Marlene.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, August 9 at 1:00 pm at 19 Restaurant & Lounge, located at 24112 Moulton Parkway, Laguna Woods, CA 92637. Enter at Gate 12. Please let the gate attendant know you are there for Vince Zoratti’s memorial.
