Vernon Edler, Jr., age 93, died peacefully on June 24, 2014. Born October 16, 1920, Vern was a long-time resident of Newport Beach and a graduate of Stanford.

Starting his own aerospace company, Vern was both entrepreneur and adventurer. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially through sailing and hunting. Traveling the world, Vern's favorite place remained his ranch retreat.

Vern lived a large and full life, and will be missed by four wonderful children, ten grandchildren, and sixteen great grandchildren.
