  1. I convey my deepest condolences to the family on the demise of Maj.Nair. A dear friend and colleague he will be missed dearly. Maj. Nair spread joy and warmth everywhere he went and was very attached to the children of the Ganga Risala (13 Grenadiers). My thoughts are with the family in this difficult time.

  4. Dear Anitha and Aunty,
We are still in a bit of shock after hearing the news about Uncle. Rajesh and I fondly remember hanging out with him at the Santa Cruz Beach and talking to him at length hearing his anecdotes about his time in the army. His spirit and his youthful looks belied his age and his enthusiasm could put a 30 year old to shame. I remember thinking that I would like to be like him when I get to his age. He may not be around anymore but he lives on in you, Anitha, and the kids. Much love and prayers for you all!

  5. Dear Anitha and Aunty,

Our entire family is still in a shock. He was such a healthy, active, charismatic and affectionate person that nobody would have thought that he would leave us so soon. Just one week before he came back to CA he did a FaceTime call with us from India and Uncle and I chatted about our summer gardening plans too. He was regularly calling my parents while he was in India. He will be terribly missed and always be in our memories. Our deep condolences to you and your family. Our prayers are with you.

May his great soul rest in peace!

    Sheela, Sreekanth and my Parents
