  1. To the family of Toni – Please accept my deepest sympathy for the loss of your mother, sister and aunt. Toni was very special to me in that she gave me my first academic position at the Univ. of Missouri. As a new Asst. Professor, she provided me with the opportunity and support to launch my research career. As my colleagues have already said, her vision and leadership have inspired many and truly advanced the profession of nursing. Linda Bullock

What a great gal. So bright and accomplished. I loved teasing her about condiments because a meal was not a meal without wonderful condiments. From my viewpoint, she really got the MU School of Nursing on track to be the success it became.. She was a doer and a problem solver. I loved her. She will be missed.

Blessings and comfort to Toni’s family. Wendy Evans
