Born in San Pedro, California on July 31, 1949, Timothy Wesley Loomis, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on October 12, 2024, at the age of 75. Tim began his journey growing up on various military bases around the world, giving him numerous places to call home throughout his youth, enriching his perspective and fostering an appreciation for diverse cultures and experiences. Those who knew Tim were often treated to his quick wit and playful sarcasm, delivered with a twinkle in his eye that never failed to bring laughter to those around him. His clever quips and good-natured teasing were hallmarks of his unique charm, endearing him to friends and family alike.

Tim is survived by his loving wife, Caryn, who stood by his side through life’s many adventures. He leaves behind his children: Michelle, Matthew, Amanda, and Christi, and his brother Terry Loomis. Tim’s life was amplified by his grandchildren, who brought him immeasurable happiness.

Tim cultivated deep friendships throughout his life and travels. Many of these friends became an extension of his family, creating memories that Tim fondly spoke about.
