Obituary
Illinois native and long time Mission Viejo resident Timothy Robert McGuire passed away September 22, 2019 with his family by his side.
He is survived by his wife Dolores, his two children Maryla and Casey, and his grandson Walter.
Tim’s focus throughout his life was always on his loved ones. He embodied the role of the patriarch and had the ability to make even a recent acquaintance feel like an integral part of his family.
Tim always left a lasting impression with the people he met. He could be relied upon for the most sound advice you could seek, while always being the first to crack a joke. Everywhere he went he had everyone laughing along side with him.
Whether Tim was on the water with a pole in his hands or casually monitoring the barbecue leading up to a family get together, you always knew the results would be the same; Whatever Tim wanted them to be.
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation between 3pm-5pm on Friday September 27, 2019 at O’Connor Mortuary, 25301 Alicia Parkway, Laguna Hills CA 92653.

I have known Tim for the last 30 years. He was my brother in law and my friend. He was always there guiding me through the best and worst of times. From taking in Dolores’s family when they had no place to go, opening his home to all large family gatherings (he wouldn’t have it any other way), helping me getting into the car business, giving us advice when we bought our first home, throwing our wedding party at his house and being at my side through the loss of my wife, there is not enough I can say to explain what Tim means to me. I don’t believe that death is the end, I believe that it is just a transition. I believe that our loved ones are always with us and that we will eventually reunite.
Until then, let’s raise a glass (of beer) to a life well lived!! Missing you already!!

Tim, a MAN among men, with a heart that was liberally shared with many. In every other conversation I would get an update on his Grandson, Walter, as I enjoyed seeing the latest pictures. Walter was his pride and joy.
As a Grillmaster, he knew when just enough was just right. A way he approach life. He was never overbearing, and was a great listener.
We would quiz each other on music trivia frequently. I concede, he knew more, but I would grumble, and he would laugh.
A great friend, both of us in the car business, he will be terribly missed, from now on.
Good bye, Tim. I’ll look you up when I get up there too.
