Obituary

Tim Jones graduated from Capo Valley High School in 1999, the same year he received South Coast All League Honors in football for the most tackles. He went on to Wyoming Tech where he earned an Associate Degree in Automotive Technology and Management. He worked at several places in Mission Viejo, CA and Lake Forest, CA but he found a home at Prestige Auto Collision in Mission Viejo.

Tim loved all sports, playing four years of football at Capo Valley High School as well as four years of baseball with Mission Little League. He rode BMX bikes, raced slot cars, rode skateboards and played golf.

Tim was all about family. When he said ‘Family is everything.’, he meant it. He had a very strong connection to his family and was devoted to his brother Russ, step-father Bob, grandmothers Patty and Merrill, uncles Pete, Steve and Matt, aunts Cassie and Renee, nieces Courtney, Haylee and Madison, nephew Nathan, cousins Cory, Sean, Katie, Kelyn, Codi and Katelyn, and his future sister-in-law Angie.

Tim’s greatest joy in life was his circle of friends and they numbered in the hundreds. He had a smile that would light up the room and everyone wanted to know him. He was the best son and brother anyone could ask for. He is now at peace in Heaven with his dad, Steve.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 19, 2007 ~ 9:00AM at Saddleback Church, Lake Forest, California.

Tim was one great guy to many people. He will truly be missed by everyone! He lighted up so many people and was there to make you smile! May each day get a little easier and may he rest happy with his dad!

  3. To the Jones Family: Tim was a joy to know. He was like a brother to my sons, Jeffrey and Matthew, and we loved him as family…..he will hold a special place in my heart forever. As a mother of sons especially, my heart grieves with you. Take comfort in your memories of the delightful young man that Tim was and the joy he brought to those around him as he so freely gave of himself and his love. I thought the poem that follows was beautiful. I hope you do as well. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Tim, I love you sweetie. Rest well, until we meet again.

    Remember Me

To the living, I am gone,
To the sorrowful, I will never return,
To the angry, I was cheated,
But to the happy, I am at peace,
And to the faithful, I have never left.
I cannot speak, but I can listen.
I cannot be seen, but I can be heard.
So as you stand upon a shore gazing at a beautiful sea–
As you look upon a flower and admire it’s simplicity–
    Remember Me.
    Remember me in your heart.
    Your thoughts, and your memories,
    Of the times we loved,
    The times we cried,
    The times we fought,
    The times we laughed.
For if you always think of me,
    I will never have gone.

I awaken every morning with you on my mind. My heart aches for all of us, as we each have lost a special soul. Our world will never be the same.

May you find peace eternal with Steve and all those that went before you. And, with your memory, may we all find this world bearable without you. Until we meet again Timmy.

The kids an I will miss you tremendously.
