Obituary

Tim Jones graduated from Capo Valley High School in 1999, the same year he received South Coast All League Honors in football for the most tackles. He went on to Wyoming Tech where he earned an Associate Degree in Automotive Technology and Management. He worked at several places in Mission Viejo, CA and Lake Forest, CA but he found a home at Prestige Auto Collision in Mission Viejo.

Tim loved all sports, playing four years of football at Capo Valley High School as well as four years of baseball with Mission Little League. He rode BMX bikes, raced slot cars, rode skateboards and played golf.

Tim was all about family. When he said ‘Family is everything.’, he meant it. He had a very strong connection to his family and was devoted to his brother Russ, step-father Bob, grandmothers Patty and Merrill, uncles Pete, Steve and Matt, aunts Cassie and Renee, nieces Courtney, Haylee and Madison, nephew Nathan, cousins Cory, Sean, Katie, Kelyn, Codi and Katelyn, and his future sister-in-law Angie.

Tim’s greatest joy in life was his circle of friends and they numbered in the hundreds. He had a smile that would light up the room and everyone wanted to know him. He was the best son and brother anyone could ask for. He is now at peace in Heaven with his dad, Steve.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 19, 2007 ~ 9:00AM at Saddleback Church, Lake Forest, California.

  1. Kim,Russ and family,
Our hearts go out to you in your memory of Tim. Know that he left a great legacy in a loving family and close friends. He was a huge support to us when we were trying to get through a very difficult time and will always be a part of us as we go forward in life. We’ll all remember him when we see a cool hotrod, hear a favorite song or spy an awesome tattoo. Thanks for sharing him with us.We loved him.

  2. Nothing can be said that hasn’t already been said about Tim. My condolences go out to his Family and friends!

I just wanted to express my deepest sympathies to Tims family. He was a great man. I have not seen him in many years but when I would see him around back in the day, he would without fail always say whats up and never too cool to spend some time talking and shooting the breeze. I always felt safe at “non-capo parties” when he was there. He was a good and loyal friend and he will be greatly missed.

  4. I am so saddened to hear the news of such a senseless tragedy. I knew Tim in high school and even though I have not seen him lately, I know that he did not deserve this fate. My thoughts are with his family and friends.

  5. Tim,
I wish i had the words to express the loss I feel at the news of your passing. I’ll always remember the days Russ, Steve, You and I spent in Pomona, whiffing the nitrous and smoking rubber. My prayers and love go out to your Family in this difficult time.

    Matthew
