  1. Dear Tom, We are so sorry to hear about your Dad. Our love is with you. Let’s get together and raise a glass to your Dad.

    Papa,

I can clearly remember as a young child your distinct whistle, which signified you were approaching our door on your way home from work. Maybe it was bribing me at a young age with a candy bar every time you visited, maybe it was the sips of beer, or maybe it was just your presence alone that made everything better no matter how bad of a day I was having. You would take us to get our hair cut by Julio, or take us swimming on the weekends followed by a snack of salami and cheese on crackers, and every year we would pile into the truck to get the Christmas tree and go get dinner afterwards. You would give us a dollar for every year we were old on our birthdays. Most of the best memories I have of childhood included you, you were always there for us and I hope you knew how much we appreciated that. I can’t imagine a Easter without you bringing the Colonel, or a Christmas without Santa personified you eating spaghetti right next to me. You taught me what a good person was through your actions of kindness and generosity. I’ll miss you more than words can express, but you’ll be in my heart forever. I love you Papa.

    Yaya,

Whatever you need remember that your family is right here for you.

  3. Warren Lewis says:

Tom, you were one of the few men around me growing up that I looked up to and respected. You always had a sharp mind and quick wit, yet you were blessed with a great heart as well. I have so many wonderful childhood memories of you and Dolores, from going to the Kern River and learning how to fish with you, each time you two babysat us while my parents were out of town, or even just the times when we were all together as a family. You had an unlimited amount of great stories to tell and you were always willing to sit with me and talk even when I was just a little kid running around. It has been my pleasure and truly an honor to know you and be your nephew. I miss you, Uncle Tom, you’re a great guy and you have made a tremendous difference in everyone who loved you. And thank you for taking such good care of my Aunt Dolores all these years together, the two of you truly have made such a positive and huge impact in my life.

    Love Always,
    Warren and Sabrina

  4. Uncle Tom –
You will always be my favorite Uncle! At every family occasion, you always had a big hug and a warm smile for everyone. I have many great memories of being with you and our extended family, from fishing trips at the river to Easter Sundays in the park. I don’t think I ever saw you in a bad mood. The love you had for Aunt Dolores and all of your children and grandchildren was evident every time you spoke their names. What a truly amazing person you are and you will be sorely missed.
Aunt Dolores, we love you with all our hearts and are so sorry for your loss. Remember, we are here for you always.
    Love Forever

  5. To my wonderful Brother who I miss so very much. We only connected the last 10 year’s and I am so happy for the time we had together!! The funny stories about Dad and Mom and our family you shared with me will stay in my memories forever!! We had so much fun in Reno, Tahoe and Vegas and just sitting on the porch talking. Even though there were almost 20 years age difference we got to be so close which I am so very grateful for!! I miss you my dear sweet Brother and I will always love you!!
