Thomas (Tom) Edward Baldwin passed away peacefully in hospice care on August 23, 2021, after losing his battle with colon cancer. Tom is survived by his siblings, Mary A. Baldwin, Elmer (and Laura) Baldwin, John (and Dora) Baldwin, and Mike Baldwin. He had nine adoring nieces and nephews, Steven Baldwin, Elisabeth (EJ) Baldwin, Chris Baldwin, Matthew DeHaven, Rachel DeHaven, Joshua Baldwin, Amelia Baldwin, Ashley Baldwin, and Megan Baldwin. Tom was preceded in death by his parents Elmer N. Baldwin, Jr. (1997) and Mary A. Baldwin (Carville) (2020).

Tom was born in Inglewood, CA and raised in Torrance, CA. He attended St. Catherine Laboure school, North Torrance High School, and Long Beach State University where he studied Film and Television Production. The Boy Scouts of America awarded Tom the honor of Eagle Scout.

Early in his professional life, Tom was a movie producer, director, writer, and actor. His credits include those popular titles such as, "Future Force", "Deadly Prey", "Killer Workout", "The Bounty Hunter", "Order of the Eagle", and of course, "Death Chase."

Tom went on to a successful career in media and marketing, including over 10 years with IEEE Computer Society.

Tom was a resident of Huntington Beach, CA. He was a happy and loving person who made others smile. Never married, he enjoyed reading books, watching movies, riding his motorcycle, target shooting and hunting, photography, travel, and family. Tom was a loving son, brother, nephew, and uncle. He was a good friend, loyal confidant, and exceptionally good listener.

A memorial mass for Tom will be held at St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church in Torrance, CA on Tuesday November 23, 2021, at 10:00AM. Reception for guests to follow the service. A private interment with Tom's immediate family will be held the following day at Cathedral Memorial Gardens in Garden Grove, CA.
