   I have many favorite memories of Aunt T including discussions on shorthand (both of us proficient in it *smile*), her contentedly stroking her cat, visits to her at St. Francis’, et al. Such a sweet woman. I am grateful to have known her. Diane, I know this is a sad time for you but what an incredible niece you were to Aunt T, my friend! My condolences. Deborah

   Oh I know this is very past due…..but I could say this about Mrs. Papp….she was such a wonderful neighbor to my mother, brother, and I. She had a great deal of wisdom and knowledge….and I especially enjoyed listening to her life stories….some of course being more sad than others….but they were all very interesting.

   My favorite memory of Mrs. Papp (this is what I called her) was her kindness and nice gestures throughout the years (i.e., giving my brother and I ice cream, candy, and all other nice things you wouldn’t expect). I will never forget her smile……always it was contagious too….even on my terrible days. When I visit my mom and brother in LA….I always think about her as I walk past her former apartment…:). The Bristol as some of you know…..isn’t the most glamorous apartment….nor is it filled with the best of people…but her presence there made me think otherwise.

   If there is someone deserving of wings…..it’d be Mrs. Papp in a heartbeat and heaven wouldn’t be the same without her.
