Obituary

Theodore "Ted" Jay Goodlander, 71, of Laguna Niguel California passed away peacefully March 27, 2015 with his partner, Vicki Gibbons, by his side.

Ted was born in Cincinnati Ohio on July 24, 1943 and was the son of the late John and Vivian Goodlander. Ted attended the prestigious Walnut Hills High School in Cincinnati and honorably served his country in the Navy from 1960-1964. He attended Syracuse University and in 1977, Ted graduated from the Harvard University Graduate School of Business Administration.

Ted was a computer software and hardware pioneer. Appointed the Vice President of Overseas Sales for Wang Corporation he opened up territories that included Australia, Asia and South America. In addition to other businesses, Ted owned a computer company, Cab Tech, a computer software company that specialized in developing and manufacturing software-driven, multi-host storage solution for powering business applications, Storage Computer Corporation, as well as a real estate holding company Kristiania Corporation all based in Nashua New Hampshire.

Known as a perennial optimist, Ted's manifesto was if you can imagine something you could make it happen. He was a mentor to many, selfless in giving from his heart and mind.

Ted is survived by his three children, Christina Goodlander, of London UK, Margaret Goodlander, of New Haven Connecticut, and John Goodlander, of Boston Massachusetts; his sister, Ada Beyer, of Zephyrhills Florida; and his partner, Vicki Gibbons, of Laguna Niguel California.

A military service will be held in Ted's honor at Miramar National Cemetery at 2 p.m. April 16, 2015. Instead of flowers, the family requests donations are made to the Lung Cancer Research Foundation.
