Theodore Edward Doke

Theodore Edward Doke, the son of Rocky and Joanne Doke, passed away peacefully on November 14, 2022, at the age of 47, from complications due to juvenile onset type one diabetes.

Ted was born on August 22, 1975 and grew up in Trabuco Canyon, California. At age seven, Ted was diagnosed with type one diabetes. He attended Trabuco Elementary, Serrano Intermediate and Santa Margarita Catholic High School. After graduating from UC Davis with a degree in mechanical engineering, Ted worked as a video engineer in the San Francisco Bay area where he resided during his adult life. Being helpful to others brought Ted joy throughout his entire life.

Ted is survived by his beloved parents; Rocky and Joanne Doke, sisters; Stefanie (Matthew) Coomes and Stacy (Jonathan) Sloey, nieces and nephews; Nathan, Courtney, Andrew and Lauren and his many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Ted’s family would like to thank his care teams at CHOC, UCSF, and Jules Stein Eye Center at UCLA for the excellent care his teams provided over the past forty years.

Funeral will be held on Wednesday, November 30 at 10:00 A.M.
