Obituary
Teresa Ann Kroehler “Terry” was born on September 19th, 1962 in Duarte CA as the third of four daughters to Bob and Tina Haeussler. On December 26th, 2023 she went Home to spend eternity with Jesus.
Terry grew up in Monrovia and Glendora, CA. She loved trips to the beach and swimming. She swam competitively and enjoyed being active with her family. After graduating from Glendora High School she graduated from Citrus College with an A.A. degree and graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a B.A. in Elementary Education. She spent 27 years teaching students in kindergarten through 4th grade, often regaling the family with stories of her students’ antics. In 1988 Terry moved to Colorado to teach. There she met Keven Kroehler and on July 8, 1989 they were married in Beaver Creek, CO. They had 34 years as best friends in a committed, devoted, and loving marriage.
Terry and Keven lived in Gypsum, CO before moving to Henderson, MN in 1997 while Terry was very pregnant with twins. For a southern California girl the move to MN was quite the adjustment. For 20 years they lived in MN raising their four children. They moved again to Rancho Santa Margarita, CA in 2017 to be close to Terry’s family. Throughout these moves they always had a big house so that they could have their family visit.
Terry brought four babies into the world, pausing her teaching career to raise them. She always insisted that the kids not come between herself and Keven. The kids always had to sit on either side during church or any other occasion. Around the dinner table she made a point of hearing how everyone’s day went and making everyone feel important.
Terry loved music and learned to play guitar and sing well enough to lead worship at church. She always had music in the house from Dan Fogelberg to the Beatles to Phil Wickham. Terry was active in church all her life with a firm faith in Jesus as her Lord and Savior that guided her life. He was waiting to welcome her into heaven when she passed. At her death she was a member at Oakhouse Church in Mission Viejo.
Terry is preceded in death by her Father Robert Haeussler; her grandparents Mario and Lupe de los Cobos, and Russell and Jewell Haeussler. She is survived by husband Keven Kroehler; Mother Maria Haeussler; sisters, Cheryl (Eric) Perry, Sandy (Jeff) Janes, and Cindy (Guy) Wight; children Zach (Lisa) Kroehler, Ally (Andrew) Little, Ben (Alana) Kroehler, and Tim Kroehler; and by three grandchildren Tahlia, Zariah, and Dillon. There are also two grandchildren on the way.

I will always remember Terry’s warm smile, loving voice, and calm spirit. She was loved by so many and made the classroom such a safe and inviting space for her students. I was blessed by the time I had teaching with her at Mission Viejo Christian.

Even though I’m not familiar with Terry, but knowing her mother, Tina, I’m sure she’s a strong and faithful believer in our Lord. She will be in our prayers. God bless & rest in peace .🙏🏽
