Obituary

Parker, Teres Maria, 87, of Mission Viejo, CA was born July 16, 1922 in Apatin, Yugoslavia and passed away September 12, 2009.

She is survived by her husband, John C. Parker of Mission Viejo; daughters Julianna Steve Sheldrake of Lehi, UT; Sandra Tim McAndrews of Rancho Santa Margarita, CA; 5 grandchildren, Melissa and Chris McAndrews of RSM, CA; Marc Elise Sheldrake of Lehi, UT; Jennifer Spencer Craig of Salt Lake, UT; Brent Jessica Sheldrake of Omaha, NE; and two great-granddaughters, Madison and Emma Sheldrake of Lehi, UT.

Teres and John were married 45 years. Teres retired from TRW Semiconductors as a Quality Control Inspector after 23 years of service.

Teres was a survivor of the Holocaust, having survived in the Ohrdruf Labor Camp in Leipzig, Germany.

Teres enjoyed sewing, crocheting and gardening. Her green thumb, true to her maiden name Kertesz gardener produced a beautiful garden of lilies and roses. Her lovely smile, her laughter and antics with her grandchildren will be missed by her family and friends, but we are at peace knowing she walks among the gardens of Heaven.

Love you Nana!
