Obituary

Temar (Tee) Beverly Gordon passed away peacefully at 86 years old in her home in New Braunfels, Texas surrounded by her loved ones on Sunday November 24, 2024.

Tee was born in Paterson, New Jersey on June 24, 1938. Tee met the love of her life, Michael (Mike) Gordon in the summer of 1956. Tee and Mike were married in December of 1957 and were married for 66 years prior to Michael’s passing in July of 2024. In 2009 Tee and Mike found their forever home in Mission Viejo (Palmia) California where she resided until Mike’s death.

She is predeceased by her eldest daughter Gail (February 2024) and survived by her daughters Lori Brickel (Jeff DePalma) of Ringwood, New Jersey and Sandy Kwiatkowski (Stan) of New Braunfels, Texas. Tee was devoted to her grandchildren, David Brickel, Leigha Bauer, Rebecca Brickel, Stephanie Kwiatkowski,and Sarah Kwiatkowski. She was a loving great grandmother to Jason Bauer, Sienna Kwiatkowski and Raelyn Bauer.

While in High School in Ridgewood New Jersey, Tee worked at her family’s hardware store. After graduation, Tee worked as an administrative assistant at an aerospace engineering company where she met Mike. She applied those skills to the jobs she held at several banks both in New Jersey and California. Tee enjoyed traveling to Europe with Mike, attending Air Shows and formal affairs

Tee was a four time cancer survivor, fully recovering each time.  She then donated her time to The American Cancer Society’s Discovery Shop where she was honored for her contributions, as well as delivering for Meals on Wheels. Tee was a long-term survivor not only of cancer but also Parkinsons, Lewy Body Dementia, COPD and severe orthopedic pain. In early 2024 Tee was diagnosed with end stage renal disease and bravely fought with dialysis until her passing.

She will be missed by all.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made in Tee’s name to the American Cancer Society.

Tee is buried with Mike at Pacific View Memorial Park in Corona Del Mar, California.
