If Tears Could Build a Stairway to Heaven

If tears could build a stairway
and thoughts a memory lane
I’d walk right up to heaven
and bring you home again

No farewell words were spoken
No time to say good-bye
You were gone before I knew it
And only God knows why.

My heart’s still aches in sadness
And secret tears still flow
What it meant to lose you
No one can ever know.

But now I know you want us
To mourn for you no more
To remember all the happy times
Life still has much in store.

Since you’ll never be forgotten
I pledge to you today
A hallowed place within my heart
Is where you’ll always stay.

Dear Ones – I am so saddened for all of you and so wish there was something we all could do to help you — We are all so sad we did not get to meet him, hold him and get to know him – We pray God will give all of you strength and courage and faith during this most difficult time –Jackie – I still think of you as the little girl with an ice cream cone and going to “consin”–and to see you as a grief stricken young mother with such a loss is almost beyond comprehension – Just know that our family is all thinking of you and sending you love and prayers and blessings – I wish I could be there for his memorial – I will be there in thought — Love, Aunt Susie and Family

    To Jacque and Greg,

Words can’t express how deeply sorry I am for your loss. I have seen first hand how loving and caring you two are as parents for James and to have this happen is not right. I have and will continue to pray for your family.
