Suzanne Marquis, a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2025, at the age of 82. She leaves behind a legacy of love and family that will be deeply cherished by all who knew her.

Born in Nashua, New Hampshire, Suzanne was one of three children to Robert Morin and Jeanette Parent, both deceased. She shared her childhood with her late brother, Bob, and her beloved sister, Jackie, who continues to reside in Nashua. Suzanne spent most of her life rooted in the communities of New Hampshire, where she built a life centered around her family.

Suzanne was the beloved wife of Roland Marquis. They were true soulmates, sharing an unbreakable love during their 61 years of marriage. Together, they created a strong and loving home for their six children: Mike, Brian, David, Laura, Lynn, and Holly. Her dedication to her children was unwavering, and she was truly an excellent Mom and Grandma. She found immense joy in her role as a grandmother to her 12 grandchildren: Dorina, Jake, Jamison, Gregory, Autumn, Hudson, Audrey, Reagan, Miles, Evalyn, Cody, and Logan, showering them with affection and creating lasting memories.

Suzanne’s life was a testament to her commitment to family. Her warmth, kindness, and loving spirit will forever remain in the hearts of her husband, her children, her grandchildren, her sister Jackie, and all her extended family and friends. She will be greatly missed

A service to celebrate Suzanne’s life will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2025, which would have been her birthday, at St. Agnes Church in San Diego. A viewing will take place at 8:30 AM at the church, followed by mass at 9:00 AM. Suzanne will be laid to rest at the Miramar National Cemetery in San Diego, where the family will gather 15 minutes prior to the burial ceremony scheduled to begin promptly at 11:15 AM.
