Obituary
Wildman, Suzanne “Suzi” Marie, born in Los Angeles, CA, on February 8, 1947, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Saddleback Hospital in Laguna Hills, CA, on November 5, 2014, at the age of 67. She was a resident of Orange County for 52 years.
Suzi graduated in 1964 from Sunny Hills High School and in 1969 from Colorado State University with a degree in Sociology with emphasis in Anthropology. She spent her early years out of college working at Smith International as a receptionist and at Security Pacific Bank as a supervisor.
After only knowing each other as acquaintances in high school, she re-met her soon to be husband Michael in 1970, married in 1973, and would remain so for the next 41 years until her passing. Together they were blessed with a son Robert in 1974. Suzi became a homemaker and occasionally worked at her father’s sports records company Pacific Coast Archives, her son’s high school St. Margaret’s, and later in life at Bath and Body Works.
As far as hobbies Suzi loved dance, starting with tap as a child, ballet a bit later, and then Irish dance late in life. She successfully competed in and won several medals for her Irish dancing skills at competitions.
Overall she was absolutely beloved by everyone she knew, either as a wife, mother, sister, daughter, cousin, relative-in law, or friend. Her family maintains that if you couldn’t get along with Suzi, you couldn’t get along with anybody. She was absolutely the kindest, gentlest person you could ever meet.
Suzi is survived by her loving husband and son, Michael and Robert; sister Diane; brother-in-law Brian; sister-in-law Shirley; brother-in-law Jack; and cousin Mary.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Suzi, I didn’t know her well, she was very close friends with Linda Johnson in high school and I was and still am very close friends with Linda’s sister Carol, I remember Suzi and Linda took Carol and I cruising around Hollywood, I think we were in 10th grade, and they were seniors, we had so much fun and then on the way driving home they, Suzi and Linda, got lost I remember we ended up somewhere in LA..we all paniced a little but we made it home late but safe and sound..what an adventure. I can remember Suzi’s laugh and seeing her smiling face. At SHHS I can always remember her smiling and being so sweet to everyone. kind of a silly memory, but wanted to share it. I just found out today of the passing of my sweet friend Suzi. Needless to say I am still in shock and feel the loss greatly. Suzi and I met in Irish dance classes and soon became good friends. We entered our first competitions in Irish dance together but I have to say her memory and dancing skills were much better then mine! She had a gentle and caring way about her and now I wonder why so much time went by that we didn’t see each other. We continued to correspond through cards but hadn’t seen each for a few years. It is times like this I realize you need to make an effort to see your family and friends more because one day you won’t have that opportunity anymore. At least not down on earth. I have that reassurance I will see Suzi again in heaven and that is my only comfort now.
To Mike and Bob I am so sorry for your loss. To have someone so special and loved taken away at an early age is never easy. It said Suzi was 67 but she always seemed so much younger to me. She looked younger and her spirit was young. She will be greatly missed.
