Obituary

Susan Kaye Latham, 44, of Fountain Valley, California. Born October 21, 1961, and died Saturday, October 7, 2006 in Anaheim, California of Cancer.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Amber Latham; beloved brother, Jeff Crawford, and loving parents, Lew & Judy Crawford.

A Child came into this world as ‘Suzzie Q’

Becomming the Daughter that honored and yearned to please

A Girl who grew through trial and error, to discover the Young Woman that found love in the eyes of Brian

A Mother that birthed an angel of Amber and golden hair

A Wife that partnered with the man of her dreams, letting go of his hand but never his heart

A Woman that found strength in the twilight of her time as she softly said goodbye.

For all that was Susan, has gone too soon.

The Lord has called her home and placed her husband back at her side.

Her heart is full of Love and her soul is at Peace.

For all that is Susan now, is because of what came before.

  1. We have shared more memories that we could list. Sue we love you and you will be missed. We hope you got to see what we talked about. Brian on one side and Jesus standing with open arms on the other. We will keep our promise to take care of your baby!Amber

  2. Dearest Sue,

You have been a sister and a friend. You brought our brother a life he always wanted and a daughter he could have only dreamed of. You brought out in him the man, he brought out in you a woman and a mother. We are so glad that you are together again, young, happy, healthy. God has blessed your lives as mortals and I am certain as angels.

We will all miss you and think of you often. We will watch over your angel Amber here on earth, just as you and Brian wished, and as we promised. Faithfully to God, we pray.

    Love and kisses,

    Carol & Joe De Marco

  3. Do not stand at my grave and weep I am not there. I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow;I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the gentle autumn’s rain.
When you awaken in the morning’s hush, I am the swift uplifting rush,of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft star that shines at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry. I am not there. I did not die. So when you remember me, Remember me with joy and laughter.
This I will try to do but if I cry it is because I am still selfish and I missing my friend.

  4. To Amber, Sue’s Family and her loved ones,
I found this tribute to Sue by accident, on this website. I was checking on another friend I have lost recently. I am so honored to write in Sue’s guestbook too. I have only known Sue for a short time, but the times we had were great times even with their ups and downs. In the short time I knew her I learned she had quite a zest for life, Adored her daughter Amber, and loved her family very much. I know she would rather be here with Amber, but she is at peace with the Brian she loved so much. She also loved Kristy, with their crazy mom and daughter way. We all know she had a strong stubburn side and needed it, to endure what she had to go through in her short lifeftime. I will remember her great smile and laughter, and how even little things like playing games brought her such pleasure. She Amazed me with here strength. Find comfort in all your great memories you have of her. Hope all enjoyed the cruise and celebrated her live the way she wanted you to.
Amber no one can take her place, but know this there are a lot us who also love you, you are not alone. I know your mom taught you to be self reliant and strong, but everyone needs someone, sometime. I am sure we will all try not to run or interfer in your life, but would be there in an instant if you need us. Don’t be afraid or too proud to ask. Your mom asked be to be there for you and I will always be there to help. You just have to ask. Try to remember that when people are giving advise and sharing information believe it is in your best interst and coming from their hearts and concern for you. Take it all in, and then follow your heart. Remember your Mom and Dad a watching over you your own private guardian angels and have made you the strong lovely young lady you are today. They will help quide you through the rest of your life here on earth. You will meet again. We will all miss your Mom very much. Trust in God, He will help you through the tough times.

    Love Sharon
