Obituary
Sumini Lay is a loving and caring mother of six children, Vincent, Tjandra, Soegiharto, Budi Setio, Susana, and Suhartini (Ninik). A grandmother of ten grandchildren as well.
She was born in Jember, East Java, Indonesia on December 20, 1939. Married to late husband Agus Tjahjono Hadikusumo (went home with the Lord on May 2013). Together with her husband, she raised all six children while running their business as well.
She was remembered as a good cook within the family.
She moved to the United States of America in 2000. The past four years have been the toughest time for her in fighting the Parkinson’s Disease, but she remained strong fighting it.
Last December 2014, she had a chance to celebrate her seventy fifth birthday with the family. On February 4, 2015, she had a mild stroke causing her to be comatose state, and peacefully went home with the Lord on February 20, 2015, at 11:15 pm, surrounded by sons, daughters, daughters in law, and grandchildren at Western Medical Center, Santa Ana, California.
She will be buried in Indonesia, by her beloved husband’s side.
She will be remembered and greatly missed.

Hello Mama.. Hari ini tgl 20 February, Mama sudah pergi 5 tahun, I miss you Mama.. Mama and Papa, Yu Lik 2 hari yg lalu, tgl 19 America atau tgl 18 nya Taiwan juga sudah meninggal, Kasihan baru umur 50 tahun masih muda, kena cancer tenggorokan, semoga dia bisa ke surga ketemu sama Papanya Ku Jong Siau Mong.
Papa Mama doain kita semua sehat ya. gua sama Bei Jing bisa berhenti makan manis dan junk food, Ko Cun sama Sin2 bisa berhenti rokok, Ko Yu sama Ko Nam juga..

Qin an de mama ku sayang, hari ini 02/20/2020, mama telah meninggal kan kita 5 thn. Kangen sekali ma,. Kemarin pagi ada kabar buruk yaitu..Yu Lik meningal dalam usia cuma 50 thn., jadi beda sama mama 5 thn ma., sedih sekali ma,. Semoga mama diatas juga ketemu Yu Lik., jadi bisa ada temen ya ma. Papa, mama, dan semuanya yg aku cintai..i really miss you all so much., till we meet again ya..

Hallo Papà Mama, hari ini 05/11/2020, Papa sudah pergi 7 tahun,maaf tetep ngak bisa pulang Indo, yg Lebih patah lagi, Koko Cum2 sama Sin2 semua ngak bisa ke kuburan Papà sama Mama… Gpp ya, satu dunia lagi ada masalah besar, Nanti klu selesai, baru visit Papà Mama ya.
