Sue Ellen McFarland

Sue Ellen McFarland passed away on March 30, 2022, at 78 years of age. Sue is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Ambrose and grandsons, Anthony Ambrose and Alexander Ambrose. She was preceded in death by her husband Ronald, daughter Deborah and brother Bill Olofson.

Sue was born in Salt Lake City, Utah. At the age of seven, she moved with her parents and brother to California. Growing up in Long Beach, Sue graduated Millikan High School, attended Long Beach City College and worked at Douglas Aircraft Company. Sue met Ron and they married in February, 1967. Shortly after marriage, they moved to Mission Viejo, CA and started a family.

Sue loved being Debbie and Becky's mother and later grandmother to Anthony and Alex.

She enjoyed trips to Las Vegas with Ron, family get togethers, holidays and never forgot a birthday or anniversary. She loved her dogs. Later in her life, she and Lily, her constant and loyal companion, sat in the sun every day in her favorite chair.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 18, 2022 at 11:00 am, at El Toro Memorial Park, in Lake Forest, CA
