    To Gina, Sloane and Henry,

Sending lots of love and prayers during this difficult time. I met your sweet dad years ago on a Reilly class field trip to Dana Point for a day on the Pilgrim ship with 33 students ( not sure if it was Sloane and Reid’s 3rd or 4th grade class). Steve was so kind and easy going.

I was so sad I came down with flu the day of the funeral ( unable to attend) but I was thinking about you all on this day and my heart breaks with the passing of Steve. He will be missed. Much love from Kelly , Christian, Reid,Mckenzie and Caitlin Berke

Steve was one of the kindest individuals I knew. I was transferred to Southern CA from Texas with Merrill Lynch 18 plus years ago. He was one of the first persons I met. Our meeting was through business but we instantly became friends. Steve loved his family and loved his life. He will be missed by all.

Steve, Gina, Sloane, and Henry are an inspiration to me how they lived through the years of battling cancer. Their courage, strength, and faith are characteristics I’d do well to follow.

  5. Donna and Jerry, May you and Steve’s entire family be embraced by God’s healing comfort. Peace and blessings, Janice Beauchemin (Rizzo) of St. Martha parish, Okemos
