Steven Edward Johnson
January 7, 1961-April 15, 2025

Steve Johnson passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife of 39 years Tricia, his daughter, Ashleigh and her husband, Douglas Frazer, his son, Bryce, and his granddaughter, Emilia Frazer.

Steve was a proud graduate of California State University, Long Beach, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Finance and a Master's degree in Public Administration.

Driven by a deep desire to help others, Steve dedicated his life to public service. He served honorably in law enforcement throughout his career, working with the Orange County Sheriff's Department, Huntington Beach Police Department, and San Marino Police Department, before retiring as a Captain with the Hermosa Beach Police Department.

Steve had a zest for life and enjoyed exploring the country, playing golf, watching hockey, and running alongside his close friends. He will be remembered for his integrity, kindness, and unwavering dedication to his family, friends, and community.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
