Stephen Anthony Shea of Mission Viejo, California, died March 27, 2015. He was predeceased by his adored wife Dorothy Mae (Nelligan). Steve is survived by their four children Mary Anne Weatherwax (husband Claude), Stephen Raymond Shea, Maureen Shea (husband Allen Ergo) and Jeanne Noonan (husband Tom).
He enjoyed his 13 grandchildren: Keith, Jeremy, Steve, Michael, Tim, Dan, Erin, Luke, Nicole, Paul, Jamie, Ryan, and Rebecca.
He was blessed with 10 great-grandchildren: Bailey, Logan, Alanna, Mackenzie, Aiden, Hunter, Carson, Peyton, Tyler and Audree.
Steve served in the U.S. Navy; attended the University of Notre Dame and graduated from Iowa State with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Steve had a successful career in air conditioning with Carrier, Thermalaire and Comfort Conditioning.

Enjoyed a bowl of ice cream every night
Liked to travel and had a list of places still to see
Traded stocks actively and encouraged others to do research and make trades
Baked homemade bread and made his own salad dressing from scratch
Watched Charlie Rose every night; read two newspapers along with many magazines and was always up on current events
A 'meat and potatoes' type of guy
Had computer expertise, used an IPAD, had Facebook and Twitter accounts; tracked his stock purchases in excel and could stream local HS games on the computer
Loved 'his' dog, Riley
Generous, supportive, encouraging and loved to laugh
Cars, food and a 3-olive gin martinis were appreciated
Delivered Meals-on-Wheels for over 16 years; part of the Stephens Ministry for many years
Took pleasure in parties, family gatherings and eating all kinds of food
Enjoyed all activities related to his grandchildren – sports, plays, music concerts, school events
Delighted in the lives of his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren
A vigil service and rosary will be held on Monday, April 6th at 7 p.m. at O'Connor Mortuary, 25301 Alicia Parkway, Mission Viejo. The funeral will be Tuesday, April 7th, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Kilian Catholic Church, 26872 Estanciero Drive, Mission Viejo.
