   Sophie was a wonderful lady. I worked at costa neuporte 20 years. She was one of the nicest ladies and she was always smiling and never complained. I was honored to know her. May she Rest In Peace Penny Mullens.

   Knowing Sophie has been a shear pleasure, and, over the years, “friend and family” became one and the same for us. In the “Mom” category, she was a shining star, and her girls are the lucky recipients of her ongoing love and devotion.

   We hold dear the memories Sophie brought to so many family gatherings in San Diego ~ graduations, wedding showers, weddings, baby showers, retirements, and just plain “family parties”. She and Ralph were always our “special guests”. Though the distance was long and somewhat grueling with heavy traffic, they were always there to support the happy occasions.

   May her family find comfort in the memories that are theirs to cherish and strength in the love and companionship from those who share her loss.

   What a beautiful difference one single life made for all of us.

   Such a fun loving person was Sophie and so caring. Didn’t know her as well as my adopted daughter, Jess did-Sophie’s great grand daughter. I would hear stories of what a quick and witty card player she was and her independent, fearless nature for living life to the fullest is something can all try to copy in our own lives.
   My love to Barbara and Suzie and the rest of Sophie’s loving family. Her spirit is sooo alive even if her physical presence has moved on.
