IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Soledad Amparo
Negron
July 10, 1954 – September 12, 2024
Soledad Amparo Negron, a cherished resident of Seal Beach, California, passed away on September 12, 2024, at Providence Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Orange, California. She was 70 years old.
As a result of complications during elective surgery, a large amount of blood was lost. Valiant attempts were made to sustain her life.
Soledad’s life was a testament to the power of warmth, acceptance, and love. She was a beacon of affection for all who knew her, making each person she encountered feel deeply valued, leaving a lasting impression of her love. She was a devoted mother to her beloved daughters, Marcela and Daniela, and a steadfast matriarch who held her family close.
Raised by her single mother, Soledad developed a strong sense of resilience and family unity. She shared an unbreakable bond with her sisters—Maria Elena, Giovanna, and her newfound sister, Patricia—each of whom was cherished in her heart.
Memories of Soledad are marked by her deep love and care for children, her strategic prowess in card games, and her affectionate interactions with every dog she met. Soledad emigrated from Lima, Peru at a young age in search of a better life and arranged for her entire family to follow her to California. An avid hiker, marathoner, and proponent of a healthy lifestyle, Soledad embraced exercise with a passion and dedication that inspired those around her. Her infectious smile and laughter were a constant source of joy, and any gathering with Soledad, especially one involving time and wine, was guaranteed to be filled with laughter and good cheer. Soledad’s second home was Seal Beach Yacht Club where she could often be found enjoying her wine with her Seal Beach Yacht Club family.
Her generosity, humor, and nurturing spirit—were evident to all who knew her. Soledad faced everything in life fearlessly and did not back away from challenges. While she often chose quiet acceptance over confrontation, she was a fighter. Her impact on everyone she met was profound and enduring. Soledad’s legacy is one of deep love and true kindness, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Soledad is survived by her husband Joe Negron, beloved daughters, Marcela and Daniela, her bonus children, Jennifer, Jean Paul (Kathy), Jocelyn (Ray), and Aaron Joseph (Joy), grandchildren Cristian, Silas, Elias, Julian, Marina, and Lucia. Sisters, Maria Elena (Luis), Giovanna (Tito), and Patricia (Erick); and a multitude of family and friends, who will forever hold her memory dear.
In honor of her life and spirit, the family invites friends and loved ones to celebrate Soledad’s legacy, cherishing the warmth and joy she brought into their lives.
