It is with deep sorrow and profound respect that we announce the passing of Sixto Llacuna Abao, Jr., a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, who departed this world on July 25, 2024, at the age of 86. He leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and unwavering dedication.

Married to his cherished wife, Rebecca, for 62 years, Sixto was a cornerstone of strength and tenderness in their enduring partnership. Together, they raised three devoted children, Marjuree  (Spouse, Rick ), Sixto (Spouse, Erika) and Maricor, and welcomed five adoring grandchildren, Richard, Elise, Max, Ava, and Grace, all of whom were blessed by his wisdom, humor, and boundless affection.

A distinguished lawyer, Sixto dedicated his career to advocating for the impoverished in his local community, embodying the true spirit of justice and empathy. His intellect and sharp wit were matched only by his genuine kindness, as he touched the lives of many with his selfless service.

A devout Catholic, Sixto attended church daily whenever possible, reflecting his deep faith and commitment to his religious community.

He will be remembered not only for his professional accomplishments but also for his warm and loving presence. His laughter, wisdom, and generous heart will be profoundly missed by his family and friends, all of whom were fortunate to know and love him.

As we grieve his loss, we also celebrate the remarkable life he lived—a life marked by a commitment to justice, a deep love for his family, and a legacy of kindness that will continue to inspire us all.

In his memory, we find solace in the knowledge that his spirit lives on in the lives he touched and the love he shared. He will forever be cherished and remembered.
