Dear Dorsz Family,
I was very lucky to have a friend like Silke. There are so many memories I can share about her but most of all is that she was unique, courageous, strong and humble in all aspects.
The unconditional love for her children, Annabel and Wilheim, was unwavering and they were the twinkle of her eye. They gave her the strength to keep going and the reason to live.
She was an extraordinary person in every regard and I’m going to miss her so very much!
Always,
Alma R. Lapidus

I met Silke through my sister-in-law, Lilia. I was pregnant at the time with my first child and Silke and talked about motherhood and other topics. She was so easy to talk to. Later, Silke bought me a gift for my daughter. It wasn’t because she was invited to a shower or because I worked with her. She bought me a gift because she was an incredibly kind person who was always thinking of others. She was, above all, always thinking of her children, enduring such pain to spend more time with them. I never heard her complain. She had such a strong spirit. She will be missed.

Liebste Silke!
