Shirley Rose Tingle, 84 of Mission Viejo, passed away in her home on Sunday, August 11, surrounded by her children. She was born in Taunton, MA, raised in Attleboro, MA and lived in Mission Viejo since 1977. She was a member of St. Kilian's Catholic Church for 42 years. She will be deeply missed.

Shirley worked for Cigna/Memorial Care, most recently in San Juan Capistrano for almost 30 years, retiring in 2016.

She enjoyed needlepoint, baking and gardening, but mostly spent time with family including 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She is survived by 3 daughters, Donna (wife of Charles Cagle), Laura (wife of Ed Inal), Paula (wife of Randy Shoup) and a son Joseph. She is also survived by 3 sisters, Janet Dorsey of Indiana, Beverly Davignon of Massachusetts and Linda (wife of Rudy Lallier) of Colorado. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph (Ted) E. Tingle who died in 2012.

A family and friends viewing and vigil will be held on Sunday, August 18 from 7pm to 9pm at O'Connor Mortuary, Laguna Hills. A Catholic service will be held on Monday, August 19 at St. Kilian's Catholic Church at 10:30a, followed by a burial service at Ascension Cemetery, Lake Forest.
