  2. What a bright ray of sunshine! Shirley & Bob genuinely were devoted to each other. When she spoke of “Bobby” it was like
that fresh giddiness of new love. We knew each other in the 70’s, our children were young, or ” about to be”. We had fun in the desert, San Felipe, and gatherings. After decades, I discovered we had been living in the same town for 14yrs. We got together at her home…of course, she offered tea…I offered to teach her washi eggs, as she had an egg collection… circumstances prevented that to happen, which I greatly regret….Shirley was a woman of firm faith, caring beyond words, courageous, strong, giving, loving….I could go on….what an example for us to follow!
We are blessed to have known her.
    Love and my heartfelt sympathies.

  3. Shirley and I instantly became friends at Sierra High School where she and Bob attended. She was the sweetest, happiest, most fun girl you could ever hope to meet! I was blessed to call her a friend. And, what a friend she was! She was absolutely head over heels for “her Bob!” They married shortly out of high school. No surprise to anyone. I was so happy to be one of her bridesmaids. It was a happy day for everyone for we all knew this was the beginning of a wonderful marriage. I regret losing touch with Shirley over the years. How I wish I hadn’t. My heart goes out to Bob and her girls. I send my heartfelt condolences and my love and prayers.
The world will miss this angel of a woman.
    I love you, Shirley.
