I will always remember the look in her eyes whenever she spoke of her grandsons Cory and Trevor. They were so special to her.She gave me many heartfelt compliments for being in their lives after Karen had passed on. I would always tell Shirley I could never ever fill Karen’s shoes but I would use them as a compass to guide me in raising and loving them both.

  4. One of my happiest childhood memories was. Going to visit Aunt Shirley. When I was 4 she took me to work with her the phone company. At lunchtime we went to eat at the company cafeteria. I saw a tall man walking towards us. Aunt Shirley introduced me to Ken Adams. I said, “when are you going to ask my Aunt. Shirley to marry you?” Well that was that. She had a beautiful wedding and I was the flower girl. I visited her often. First in Monterrey Park then in San Diego where I would take the train. She was always patient, kind and loving. I. Fondly remember all those visits. Unfortunately she moved to New Jersey. When she moved back to California I was so happy. Those years in Huntington Beach were some of the happiest of my life. You will always live in my heart Aunt Shirley.

  5. Shirley will always be in my heart and I will greatly miss her.
