What a surprise it was hearing you had passed, Shelem.
It was too early for you to leave your family and friends behind. Even though they already know you will be looking over them from a distance.
You were a really good person to people you even hardly knew. You’ve touched so many people in this world that were glad to call you a friend. You were a very kind, vibrant and happy person that didn’t deserve to pass so young.
I regret not getting to know you better as a person.
May you rest in peace wherever you go, Shelem.

Shelem I love you so much and always will. You were a childhood best friend, cousin, and even a sister to me. You took care of me and made sure that I was always included. The memories that we created together will for ever live on with me and I know you are in a better place. Sam, Vero, Sammy, and Alan, I love you guys so much and I thank you for allowing me to be a part of your family adventures and get to know each and every one of you, especially Shelem. You guys allowed me to have the older sister I always needed by my side. The one who showed me how to play, love, and just have fun. I will forever be grateful with those memories I was able to build with everyone and I know one day we will all be back together with Shelem and get to continue living on like we did when we were children. I wish I could attend in person, but I promise you that I will come visit very soon to give you all a great big hug. She will forever be loved and cherished. My role model and sister.
