Obituary

Sharon Valerie Quam Bell
May 13, 1970 – May 23, 2009

We will always cherish our memories of Sharon, born in Anaheim California on May 13, 1970.

Loving wife of Andrew Bell and mother to Brooke and Andrea, Sharon is also survived by her father, Dennis; mother, Kikue; sister, Jennifer; and brother, Fletcher.

Sharon passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, May 23, 2009. She was a graduate of USC with a Masters in Social Work and went on to continue in her field of endeavor and worked at the Saint Jude Medical Center, Fullerton, where she was known for her compassionate and loving nature.

Sharon enjoyed spending time with her husband, Andrew, and her two daughters, and they loved to go skiing with the Disabled Sports USA, Orange County Chapter. She will be greatly missed by all who have loved her and the many people whose lives she touched.

The memorial service will be held on Monday, June 1st, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at the Lake Forest Saddleback Church, with reception to follow on site.

  4. Sharon was a kind and loving person. I had the opportunity to work with her a few years here at St. Jude. She will be greatly missed and for her daughters, she loved you more than life itself. May God continue to watch over you and bless you in this time of sorrow. My thoughts and prayers are with you and will continue.

    Sharon, you will be missed.

  5. We are heartbroken to hear the sad news. We were out of town or most certainly would have been at the service. Sharon was my favorite student. I learned as much from her as she did from me. I remember us laughing together so much our sides would ache.
