Sharon Valerie Quam Bell
May 13, 1970 – May 23, 2009

We will always cherish our memories of Sharon, born in Anaheim California on May 13, 1970.

Loving wife of Andrew Bell and mother to Brooke and Andrea, Sharon is also survived by her father, Dennis; mother, Kikue; sister, Jennifer; and brother, Fletcher.

Sharon passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, May 23, 2009. She was a graduate of USC with a Masters in Social Work and went on to continue in her field of endeavor and worked at the Saint Jude Medical Center, Fullerton, where she was known for her compassionate and loving nature.

Sharon enjoyed spending time with her husband, Andrew, and her two daughters, and they loved to go skiing with the Disabled Sports USA, Orange County Chapter. She will be greatly missed by all who have loved her and the many people whose lives she touched.

The memorial service will be held on Monday, June 1st, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at the Lake Forest Saddleback Church, with reception to follow on site.

  1. Sharon you will be greatly missed in this life by your MOPS sisters at Coast Hills Community Church. Our peace and comfort is in the hope and assurance of seeing you once again in heaven. You were true light, life, and love. We are praying for Andrew, Brooke, Andrea and the entire family for His peace and presence in the days to come.

Your smile, energy and positive attitude will be greatly missed. I hope you know you have always been and will still be such an inspiration to me and so many others. You are amazing and Brooke and Andrea are so blessed to have such an incredible mommy. You will always be remembered.

Thank you Sharon for blessing so many with your kindness and warm smile. You were always a welcome face to see at MOPS and I feel blessed to have shared in a small part of your life here on earth. My thoughts, and prayers go with your family, your husband and your beautiful girls. With Love, Karen

  4. It was such a pleasure meeting Sharon for the first time at Mission Lutheran in fall of 2008. She was always such a joy to talk to. She was full of life and truly enjoyed her girls. She will be missed very much.

  5. Dearest Sharon,

I feel so blessed to have known you and your darling girls through MOPS and MOMS Club LNN. Sharing in fellowship at our MOPS table was always so much fun. You always arrived with your beautiful smile and positive attitude. I was so happy when you decided to join MCLNN and also serve on the Board with me. You are such an inspiration to me, and I am so grateful to have had the honor to know you. You will be missed so very much, but always remembered. You and your family are in my prayers.
    With Love,
    Victoria
