Obituary

Sharon Nestor of Mission Viejo, CA passed away on August 7, 2019. Beloved wife of the late Paul Nestor. Loving daughter of Marie Ward. Survived by her daughter Bridget Nestor-Arjun and son, Thomas Nestor. Cherished grandmother of Anara and Zara Arjun. Sister of Gabrielle Ward and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased  by her father, James G. Ward, and her brother, James John Ward.

Sharon attended State Teacher’s College in Jersey City, New Jersey. She started her career as an administrative assistant to Bache Brokerage on Wall Street in New York. After marrying the love of her life she moved to California where she managed her husband’s law office and eventually was the manager of a pension plan company.

Her biggest joy in life was being a mother to her children. She was actively involved in their activities including being Bridget’s Girl Scout Troop leader, room mom for both of her children as well as volunteering to help with her son’s sporting activities.

Her family describes her as intelligent but patient and kind with a huge heart. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at O’Connor’s funeral home on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 10:00 AM. She will then be interred with her husband, Paul Nestor, at Ascension Cemetery in Lake Forest.
