Sharon Gayle
Foote
January 8, 1940 – June 1, 2004
Sharon Gayle Foote, 64, was born on January 8, 1940 in South Gate, California to Harry & Loretta Michael and joined her older brother Richard. Sharon grew up in Maywood, a suburb of Los Angeles and had a full life.
She attended Catholic school and had many friends. Sharon was married three times and had two sons, Todd and Jeff with her second husband, Albert Al Foote. Sharon and her family spent many weekends coming down to Doheny Beach. She moved with her two young boys to San Clemente and later Capistrano Beach, where she lived the past thirty-four years.
She spent a lot of time taking her boys as well as the neighborhood boys to the beach, where they learned to surf and still have fond memories of those carefree days at the beach with Mrs. Foote. She began having some health problems about sixteen years ago and stopped working for her longtime employer, DeNault's Hardware at that time. Even with her health problems she took care of both her parents and they, her until each of them passes away in the last three years.
Sharon loved the lakers, Kobe being her favorite player and she considered Rick Fox to be the most handsome. She loved going to the Carlsbad Flower fields, Doheny Beach, and if she was feeling up to it, Disneyland. Her grandchildren loved their 'Grandma Sharon' and enjoyed spending time in her flower garden with the lizards and in her living room with all of her dolls and decorations. It was like being in the toy shop at Disneyland.
We will always love and remember her.
