Obituary

Sherry Eaton, a 46-year resident of Laguna Niguel passed away peacefully in her sleep Sunday August 5 th at home with her daughter by her side. She was 73 years old. She had been battling AML (Acute Myeloid Leukemia) for the last year with an original diagnosis 10 years ago. Sherry was born 3/9/45 in Binghamton, NY to Roy and Betty (Baker) Cole. She was married 6/29/63 to Bruce Eaton. Her husband of over 50 years passed away 3 years and 8 months prior to her. She leaves behind her son Tim (Lisa) Eaton, Daughter Tammy Eaton, Granddaughter Emily Eaton, brother, Jack Cole and so many family members and friends who cherished her. Sherry was known for her cheerful disposition and her ability to spread that to others. She sent personal cards through the mail for all sorts of occasions and it was rare for her to miss a birthday. Her kindness and sweet nature was revered by all who knew her.

Services will be held at O’Connor Mortuary, 25301 Alicia Parkway, Laguna Hills, CA 92653 on  Saturday September 8, 2018 at 2:00 pm, immediately followed by reception with light hors d’oeurves.

Sherry’s favorite color was yellow. If you are able, please show your love by wearing something yellow to the service. This can be a flower, pin, or even a dress or tie. Sherry’s wish was that the service be light and uplifting. We feel that this will help set that mood.
